WHO WE ARE
Magic Forest Theatre exists to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of children through the magic of musical theatre.
Founded by four musical theatre writers, our mission is to use curriculum-based story and song in a way that sparks imagination in young audiences. Our vision is to create a fully interactive musical by engaging audiences with original songs that are easy to teach and easy to sing-along. We will use non-traditional materials to engage the kids as puppeteers themselves, with the hope to inspire the ability to create theatre for themselves.
Our musicals are appropriate for early childhood age and we will travel to schools, daycares, and community centers in your district to perform exciting, two-person musicals with live music.
Collectively we have performed over 500 shows for children, served over 4,000 children in the NYC metro area, and have had our musicals performed Off-Broadway and regionally. We are thrilled to bring this experience to our new venture as the Magic Forrest Theatre Company and we look forward to coming to you soon!
